Restaurant Interlude has been named Best Restaurant with Rooms overall and Awarded it’s 4th AA Rosette

An honour that celebrates craft, connection, and collective excellence

We are proud to share that Restaurant Interlude has been named Best Restaurant with Rooms Overall and awarded its 4th AA Rosette by AA Hospitality Services, a milestone that places us among a select group of establishments recognised at the very highest level.

The AA Rosette scheme, one of the most respected restaurant rating systems in the UK, acknowledges exceptional culinary standards. Four rosettes are rare, awarded only to restaurants demonstrating intense ambition, superb technical skill, and remarkable consistency. Being named Best Restaurant with Rooms Overall by AA Hospitality Services celebrates not just the food, but the entire guest experience, where dining and hospitality meet seamlessly.

At Restaurant Interlude, every element on the plate and every detail of a stay is a reflection of our connection to the land. Set within the historic Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens, our kitchen follows the seasons and draws inspiration from nature’s rhythms. Dishes begin long before they reach the table, with wild herbs foraged at first light, ferments nurtured over weeks, and flavours crafted with care and patience.

These accolades recognise not only the vision of Chef Jean Delport, but also the dedication, skill, and passion of our entire team. From foragers and growers to chefs and front-of-house staff, every person plays a part in creating the exceptional experiences that have earned these honours.

We are deeply grateful to our guests, whose support, curiosity, and appreciation inspire everything we do. These awards are a shared achievement, and a moment of pride for the whole Interlude family.

We invite you to experience it for yourself.
