Jean Delport Back on Great British Menu

Things are heating up in the kitchen as our very own Jean Delport makes his return to Great British Menu, but this year, he’s on the other side of the pass.

Jean joins the show as mentor and judge for the Northern Ireland heat, bringing serious culinary firepower after his standout run last year, where he took both fish and main courses to the final banquet at Blenheim Palace.

He’s joined by fellow chef (and former rival) Sally Abé, so expect sharp insights, high standards… and maybe a little friendly competition.

The spotlight is on Northern Ireland, where four chefs, Lawrence Barrow, Kristin Reagon, Callum Irwin and Marion Lancial, battle it out with menus inspired by British film and TV.

After the heats, the top two go head-to-head, cooking their full six-course menus again for a shot at the finals. Judging their fate? A heavyweight panel including Tom Kerridge, Lorna McNee and Phil Wang, alongside Belfast filmmaker Lisa Barros D’Sa.

Only one chef will make it through to represent Northern Ireland.

With big flavours and the pressure cranked all the way up, it promises to be deliciously dramatic so stay tuned….
